Our Mission

The Tri-Cities Area Faith in Action®, through congregations united for service, offers God's love to our neighbors by easing loneliness and isolation thereby making a difference in their lives.  The focus of our actions is the elders of
we serve Granite City, Madison, Venice, Pontoon Beach and Mitchell

About Us

Tri-Cities Area Faith In Action was first started in 2000 to serve the elders of this community. In 2009, after prayerful consideration, the Board of Directors of Tri-Cities Area Faith In Action voted to become a part of the Madison Co. Catholic Charities to better serve the community. In 2010, TCAFIA officially became a program under Madison Co. Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities is devoted to this program and mission and recognizes the need and importance of meeting the needs of our elders in the community. TCAFIA is an Interfaith program, meaning you don’t have to be of any particular faith to volunteer or receive services.
